Museum of the Future Architecture

The building’s oval shape, which is interpreted as a human eye, was one of the world’s most challenging and ambitious construction projects and took around six years to complete. Its solid structure is designed to symbolize the knowledge we hold, while the void in the middle represents what we are yet to learn about the future.

The building’s exterior is covered in quotes attributed to the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, written in Arabic calligraphy, that serve as the “windows” of the building. The quotes are engraved in 1,024 stainless steel panels that form the museum’s facade, creating a mesmerizing effect in sunlight and at night.
It’s also interesting to know that the building features flying objects, which adds to its unique design, making it even more striking.
